Website offer terms & conditions

These terms explain the £199 one-page website offer and the optional £29 monthly hosting and care offer from Set Up & Seen. Please read them with our website and service terms and the written proposal for your project.

Who the offer is for

The offer is for UK sole traders, tradespeople and small businesses seeking a focused one-page business website. We will discuss your requirements before accepting a booking. More complex functionality or a larger website requires a separate quote.

Offer period and booking

The offer is available until 11:59pm UK time on 31 October 2026. A booking is confirmed when you have accepted the written proposal and the agreed initial or full payment has been received. To qualify, this must happen by the closing date. Sending an enquiry does not confirm a booking or commit you to payment.

The website does not have to launch by 31 October. Your project start date and delivery timetable will be agreed in writing once the required content, access and payment are ready.

What the £199 price includes

• Design and build of one scrolling business website page.
• A mobile-friendly layout for your business information, services, photographs and contact details.
• An enquiry form.
• Use of the logo, wording and photographs you supply.

Your proposal confirms the page sections, platform, review stages and delivery timetable before work begins. The £199 is a one-off design and build charge, separate from any monthly hosting plan. Set Up & Seen is not VAT registered, so VAT is not added.

Separate costs and additional work

Additional standard pages cost £99 each. A standard page presents your supplied business information, wording and photographs in a layout consistent with your website. Its content and scope are confirmed in your proposal. This price does not include new functionality such as an online shop or booking system.

Domain registration and renewals are charged separately. Branding, logo design, full copywriting, online shops, booking systems, paid subscriptions and other extra features are not included in the £199 price unless your written proposal expressly includes them. Any additions are discussed and quoted before they are carried out.

You must have permission to use any content you supply and provide accurate business information. Your domain remains yours.

Optional hosting and care

You may add hosting and care at £29 per month. For customers who take up this offer by 31 October 2026, that monthly rate continues after October for this plan while it remains active; it does not automatically increase to £49 in November. A later change of service or scope requires a separately agreed quote.

The care service includes managed hosting, SSL, regular backups, website monitoring, enquiry-form checks, relevant platform updates, technical support and one small content update a month. Small updates include changing supplied text, replacing a photograph or updating a price. Larger changes, new features, premium software and third-party charges are quoted separately.

The monthly plan is optional. If you arrange hosting elsewhere, the platform, compatibility and handover requirements will be confirmed in your proposal. The hosting start date, billing date and precise support arrangements are also confirmed before you agree.

Cancel anytime, with no 12-month contract

You can cancel the monthly hosting and care plan at any time by emailing info@setupandseen.co.uk. There is no requirement to commit to, or pay for, a 12-month term. We will confirm the cancellation date, any final billing and the practical handover arrangements in writing.

Your proposal will explain how cancellation within a paid month is handled before you sign up. We will not add a 12-month commitment to this promotional monthly plan.

When hosting ends, the website will need suitable alternative hosting to remain online. We will explain the available transfer options and identify any separately chargeable work before you agree to it. Cancelling hosting does not cancel the separate website-build agreement or remove payment owed for completed, agreed build work.

Payment, build cancellation and ownership

The agreed payment schedule is set out in your proposal. The website-build cancellation and refund arrangements follow that proposal and our general service terms, taking account of work already completed and agreed third-party costs. An initial payment is not described as automatically non-refundable.

Ownership and permitted use of the completed work, and any third-party licences, are explained in the written proposal and general service terms. Nothing in these offer terms removes any statutory rights that apply.

Clear expectations

A website gives customers a place to learn about your business and enquire. We do not guarantee a particular number of visitors, enquiries, bookings, sales or a search-engine position.

These promotional price and monthly cancellation terms apply to this offer. They take precedence over general starting prices or references to other packages, including the separate £149-per-month managed website package.
