Website Starter Prize Draw terms
Key information: Free UK entry. One Website Starter package worth £495 is available. Entries close at 11:59pm UK time on 30 September 2026. One eligible winner will be selected at random. One entry per person and business.
1. Promoter
- The promoter is Set Up & Seen, the trading name of a sole trader based in Worcestershire, United Kingdom. Contact: info@setupandseen.co.uk or 01384 492406.
- This prize draw is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Meta. Entrants release those platforms from responsibility for the promotion to the extent permitted by law.
2. Promotional period
- The prize draw opens at 9:00am UK time on 24 August 2026 and closes at 11:59pm UK time on 30 September 2026 (the “Closing Time”). Entries received after the Closing Time are invalid.
- The closing date will not be extended unless unavoidable circumstances outside the promoter’s control make this necessary and any change can be made fairly without disadvantaging entrants.
3. Eligibility
- Entry is open to UK residents aged 18 or over who own or represent a UK business, or genuinely intend to launch a UK business.
- The promoter, anyone directly involved in administering the draw, and members of their immediate households may not enter.
- Only one entry is permitted per person and per business. Where duplicate entries are received, only the first complete, valid entry will be included.
- No purchase or payment is necessary.
4. How to enter
- Before the Closing Time, an entrant must: (a) follow the official Set Up & Seen account on Facebook, Instagram or both; and (b) submit the complete entry form at setupandseen.co.uk/competition.
- Following both Facebook and Instagram does not create a second or bonus entry.
- The entrant must supply accurate contact information and the social username or profile name used to follow Set Up & Seen. The promoter may verify the winning entry before awarding the prize.
- Automated, bulk, incomplete, fraudulent or misdirected entries, and entries submitted by third parties, are invalid. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt.
5. The prize
- There is one prize: one standard Set Up & Seen Website Starter package with a value of £495.
- The package includes up to five pages, professional desktop and mobile design, one contact or enquiry form, clear calls to action, basic search-engine setup and launch support.
- The prize does not include domain registration, hosting, ongoing support, paid software, premium stock assets, logo or branding work, bespoke copywriting, ecommerce, advanced booking functionality, memberships or custom integrations. These can be quoted separately only if the winner asks for them. Purchasing extras is not a condition of entry or receipt of the prize.
- The winner must provide accurate and lawful content, any necessary access, permissions and approvals, and timely feedback. The normal delivery time is 2–4 weeks after the required information and access are ready and a project start date has been agreed. Delays by the winner or third-party providers pause the timetable.
- The winner and promoter must agree a project start date within six months after the winner accepts the prize. The website must relate to a lawful UK business and must be within the promoter’s usual service capabilities.
- The prize is non-transferable, may not be resold and has no cash alternative. If the stated prize becomes unavailable for unavoidable reasons, the promoter will provide a reasonable equivalent of at least the same value.
6. Winner selection and contact
- Within three working days after the Closing Time, one winner will be selected from all valid entries using a verifiably random computer process. The promoter will retain a record of the selection.
- The selected entry is provisional until eligibility and the required social-media follow have been verified.
- The winner will be contacted using the email address and, where supplied, telephone number on the entry form. The promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner for 14 days. If the winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, has not completed the entry requirements, or declines the prize, another winner may be selected using the same random process.
- The promoter aims to confirm the prize with the winner within 30 days after the Closing Time.
7. Winner information
- The entry form allows entrants to state whether their first name and business name may be announced. The promoter will respect objections or requests to reduce the information made public.
- To demonstrate that a valid award took place, limited winner information may be made available on request for 30 days after the winner is confirmed. Where a winner has objected, the information will be reduced appropriately. The promoter must still provide full information to the Advertising Standards Authority if challenged.
8. Personal information and marketing
- Personal information submitted for entry will be used to administer the draw, verify eligibility, contact the winner, award the prize and keep an appropriate compliance record. Further information appears in the Set Up & Seen privacy notice.
- Marketing consent is optional, is not a condition of entry and does not affect the chance of winning. Marketing will be sent only using a channel the entrant has positively selected, subject to any other lawful basis, and consent may be withdrawn at any time.
9. General
- The promoter will administer the prize draw fairly and under proper supervision. The promoter’s decision is final on matters reasonably connected with administration of the draw, but this does not affect an entrant’s legal rights.
- The promoter may disqualify an entrant where there are reasonable grounds to believe that these terms have been breached, but will not do so merely to avoid awarding the prize.
- If circumstances outside the promoter’s reasonable control prevent the draw from being administered as described, the promoter may make only the changes reasonably necessary to run it fairly and will avoid disadvantaging entrants.
- Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. The promoter is not responsible for failures of internet, social-media or third-party services outside its reasonable control.
- These terms and the prize draw are governed by the law of England and Wales. Entrants retain any mandatory rights to bring a claim in another UK jurisdiction where applicable.
These terms are intended to make the promotion clear, fair and capable of proper administration. They should be read together with the significant conditions displayed on the entry page.
